"Out for delivery"???? It's not even in CO yet. I'm maybe 7/8 miles from UPS depot. Every single UPS delivery I get always gets on the truck around 4:30 to 6 AM at the latest. ("Technically" it is still "out for delivery" even though the UPS big truck is somewhere in Wyoming right about now.)

    Arrived:

20160810_162018.jpg Those ARB stickers are hard to find. Try finding them online. You can find them but you will most likely pay $5 and wait for the knock off to come from China.
20160810_162927.jpg Pretty much, actually totally ready to go. Pre Teflon taped fittings. Not a big deal, unless you don't have any Teflon tape and the fittings had no Tef tape. (I do)
    20160810_171958.jpg Lose this with a 14mm.
    20160810_171435.jpg Replace with this.
    20160810_171344.jpgTop view.
20160810_174245.jpg Attach one end of 8mm tube

It got too dark to take any more pics. My dog got loose and I spent a half hour looking for her. She always comes back. She came back finally just as I was finishing up. I'll add final pics after work tomorrow. Very nifty kit to say the least. Thanks @YotaDan and everyone at Wheelers!!!

@Spvrtan has already done this mod with great pics by the way.

After doing all that, I'm going to remove what I just did, locate the front diff/AT/Transfer case breather location (somewhere in the engine bay) and then totally redo everything. The ARB kit came with 8 meters/24ft of 8mm tubing and extra fittings. Going to run the extra tubing from rear diff up along frame and into engine bay and redo all OEM tubing/fittings from front diff/tranny/Xfer case and utilize all 4 ports of my ARB manifold. Might as well do it right.

Actually, instructions #2 and #3 are sort of understandable, #1 is ????????. "Clean be posted on the surface of the stains" ???? I could drink a couple of beers to see if it makes any more sense. The emblem itself is actually pretty decent. I just ordered a second one. Both will go below my 5.7L badges.

My Tundra was a plain jane non TRD SR5. Not any more. Beyond TRD. I do plan on getting the TRD shifter. I'm looking for the T handle type. Rock Warrior??

Ahh I thought yours was a TRD. The RW one is just machined metal color, this was the one in the RW at my last job.

Actually the two trucks on the end, the Red tundra and Taco, belong to two VA Shuttle bus drivers. (Yes, that infamous Aurora VA Hospital). There are four drivers, all are DV's. Good guys. The VA has a facility next door to us where they park their vehicles inside.

Yesterday was F88Ked. I don't mind getting quality time with my 5 Brady bunch grandkids. Two boys that my sons girlfriend has and my two g daughters and g son with her. Oldest g kid is 9, as in 9. After 5 hours the quality time thing starts to wear off quickly. Especially diaper time with the 15 month old. Kind of like driving a Prius after awhile.

My boring trek today with my over sized truck that obviously can't be a serious off road vehicle. Especially if Land Cruisers are over sized. By the way I was the only truck where I went. Again. Came across "5280 Krawlers". (Cool JP Cherokees, 1990+ with the high output inline 6's.) I bought one when I first got here in CO 2004 1989, pre hi output. Still a very good inline 6 with the notorious oil leak issues: My internet is slow for some reason..hang on for a bit. Pics out of order. Finish this tomorrow. F***ing Comcrap internet.

    15.jpg The beginning.
1.jpg Nice road. Off of Pickle Gulch/Missouri Creek. (I stop and take pics at the easy sections. Hard to take pics with one hand and steer with the other in the f**ked up stretches.)
5.jpg Same back access ridge road up to friends prop. The easy part. Mirrors folded in at this point. (Learned my lesson. Don't ask) Gets very narrow, rocky, very rocky, beyond here as you make your way up and very steep. Fortunately no one was coming down. Hard to back up/move over further up with a JP let alone a Tundra. (Remember..this a designated "Jeep" trail) Got Balls? Scratches from here on up.

    2.jpg Help me
    9.jpg WTF?
20160821_105014.jpg Up. Not made for the Tundra.
    20160821_105505.jpg Apparently it was.
    20160821_105400.jpg Ditto
    20160821_110443-1.jpg Clearing at the top.
20160821_110648.jpg Road finally levels out. Don't worry it narrowas again after 100 ft.
20160821_111925.jpg My grouse & mushroom hunting spot.
20160821_111203.jpg Giant Bolete. Too far gone. A week earlier..good to go.
    20160821_112501.jpg Large Hawk's Wing. Good with stew/omelette.
7.jpg The Top... Oregon "Hill" 10987ft. Repeater station. (The "main"access road to the repeater is somewhat better but steep as shit. Actually not much better at all. Will post those pics too. No access in either direction up in winter unless you have snow shoes and a death wish. (Can't get a snow mobile up there in winter. Yuge drifts.Yuge)

That looks like a fun trek Matt. Once I get my suspension and tires done I may need to start making some trips to the mountains again, Tin Cup pass down by Buena Vista would be a fun one to do in the Tundra.

There are quite few very good lesser known passes here on the front range. A lot less tourists and out of staters. Some of the most popular passes get pretty crazy with way too many 4X4's in the summer. Late fall before first big snow is the best time to hit those. I make a habit of talking to the locals where they go.

Solid method, too bad mine won't be ready to go this fall. Once I get this pickup paid off I'd like to get ahold of a 1st gen Tundra or an older Taco for a trail truck (money tree isn't big enough to go full rock crawler).

I see a lot of those 90's Cherokees turned into crawlers. A lot. Used Wranglers go for a premium. The Cherokees can be picked up for a song. Same inline six that the JP Wrangler used for years. Easy to work on too. Fairly reliable too.

Yeah I've seen pics of them too, I just want something reliable that I could put like a 4" lift on with 35's or so. I don't have the mechanical skill to go crazy with roll cages and LT, and I wouldn't want to put a ton of money into it either. Just enough of lift where it can run trails in the mountains and be capable, then the Tundra could just be a tow pig for it.

The ones I saw yesterday were lifted, fat tires, and cut out fenders. Not sure about their drive trains, could be stock.
