    ....Oregon Hill area. Conditions weren't ideal at all. Was literally raining ashes and a weird yellowish glow yesterday. You could look at the sun. Smoke was that bad. Still had a good time though.

    @Bucks04. See, we do take our Tundra's seriously. I've been on here since the beginning. Only 30 day banned once. Almost 60 times.....maybe.... ha. Sometimes we do sarcastic post fillers waiting for the OP to update. I agree belittling isn't good form unless you know most of the Mods personally here like I do. Sometimes it has a negative affect..heh...heh...
    Wanted to follow up on my dual in/single out Flowsound and E3 spark plugs.:

    First time going up to the mountains with the new plugs and Flowsound. Super pleased with this Flowmaster knock off. Not overbearing at all no drone. The big test was getting on it going thru tunnels #1 to #3 up towards Blackhawk. Passed the Manny approval test. Good enough for me. Hand calc'd mpg's. Gained 0.6 mpg with the new E3 plugs. Not bad at all considering going from 5740ft to 10,600 ft. The last 20 miles was going up steep old narrow rocky mining roads to my campsite. Definitely have more pep with the new muffler/plug combo. Don't give a rat's ass about mpg but any gain is a plus in my unwritten book....:benchpress:

    Sad to say but I'm sure grouse season will be a total bust. Poor hatch. Too freaking dry. Locals up there are only seeing the occasional moose which is kuul but a huge bear problem up there. Bears need to be starting to fatten up for winter. No food supply. Too hot. Fires all over. Not good unless early snow hits in October but the drought damage has messed things up. No mushrooms this year. None...

    Decided to position my truck in a good spot out back and loosen up the front lug nuts. Naturally the ass whipes that mounted my Patagonia M/T's over torqued them. Had to use a breaker bar to get them loose. WTF?
    WD-40'd everything else. Hopefully an easy install tomorrow morning for this 64 year old fart. At least I finally have the energy. Cancer free helps.....knock on wood....

    FWIW....you have to remove the front sway bar bolts to allow lower controls arms to have some play. Going to remove the sway arm completely to see how the ride is.

    Pretty sure my 6+ year old OEM TRD rims haven't been spiffed up since "Black Betty" was driven off the Yota lot in Helena, Montana in 2014. Yes......I finally named a truck after all these years :thumbsup:
    I soak a clean rag with PB Blaster. Works damn good. Will do it again tomorrow.

    :eek: Years ago I had a Grand Cherokee with step bars. I was on my way to work and hit something and then heard a dragging noise. I ran over a wand from a pressure washer and it shot into the step bar right where it curved in front of the tire. Saved the tire but has a 1 inch hole in the bar. Covered it with speed tape.
