Hey Guys. Relatively new to the forum. I got a lot of useful information here, so thanks everyone for posting.
I had an 2014 sr5 for 4 years. 4.6 engine. Served me well for 140000 trouble free miles.
So finally, life has been good to me lately, and I upgraded to 2017 platinum. 4x4 with every single option that comes with that trim.
My thinking process, since I wanted to upgrade the suspension either way, led me to go with platinum. And I got a great deal on this truck.

Here is photo on a way home from the dealer, and one once I arrived.

First of all I installed some morimoto LED bulbs from headlight revolution which I had on my old truck. They look perfect with the led strips that are in the headlight as running lights.
After some short time, I decided to go with the southern style offroad bumper. Keeps kinda that factory look, with a bit more protection, and it holds a winch and led bar. Plus I found one brand new locally from a guy who changed his mind, so saved some money there. It came with a light bar. I got wireless smittybilt 10000pounds winch, and snapped some black oem steps, for 60$ local. :D

I decided to go with Icon rebound wheels 17". Plan was to get toyo at3. but guy at the shop talked me into nitto ridge grapplers. I did a lot of research. Most of the people were super happy with them. They looked better. And I got them at discount tire for cheaper than toyo's. So I ended with 35x12.5r17.
First choice were fox 2.5 shocks with remote reservoir and adjustable. After waiting for two months on them, supplier pushed the expected date for mid January. Couldn't wait that long.
I managed to source Icon within a day. They were my close second choice and I almost went with them in the first place. Old men emu Dakar leaf springs, icon upper control arms. And some other things, that I am not familiar with, local shop did all the work.

Also, added some rigid ditch lights, with brackets from Cali raised. Trigger 4 plus to control all of the lights.
Few days later, got mirror caps, and door handles from Toyota, in matching midnight black color. I still haven't decided to I like it more with them. Chrome ones do give it some contrast.

I am 6' tall for a reference. And those lights shine like crazy. :)

    Also I forgot to mention it’s a 3” lift.
Thoughts on ride quality for the first week: I was sceptic how the quality of the ride will be. Handling and all. Cause even though I would like to spend all my time camping, realistically I spend countless hours more on the pavement.
But maaan, I can tell you it’s worth every penny. Even with the lift, honestly, trucks feels better and more stable. It’s eating all of the pot holes, and bumps on the road. I rode it really fast on some ruff gravel road. I’ll properly test it in a couple weeks with a nice trip to Big Bend. But so far, I’m blown away honestly. I can strongly recommend them. Also, super pleased with Nittos. They look amazing. Really really quite, especially for what they are.
They handled perfect so far. All that’s left is to get some feedback in the rain.

As for the next build steps.
I already ordered the rci skid plate set. Also, adjustable bed rack, and a hard shell roof top tent. Last two won't be on a truck all the time.
Now I just need some proper rock sliders down the line. :)

Thanks. I’m pretty sure these are the ones that Toyota sell. Try any dealer
