Anybody try BILSTEIN B8 6112 on their 2021 yet? I've looked online and several dealers say these won't fit the 2021. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm ready to pull the trigger on a suspension upgrade. TIA.

I’m in the same boat! Im in San Diego and a few shops have told me that the kit would be the 20’ kit with mods because there is no 6112/5160 combo for the 21’.
I’ve done the homework but going to call Bilstein rep on Monday and see what the best fit would be. If there are no true set ups for my 21’ I’m going Fox maybe??! I’m really trying to stick with Bilstein, I got a budget. :fingerscrossed:

With the new truck coming out in 2022, I doubt there is any difference in the 2021s and 2020/2019 as far as suspension.

They specifically state the shocks will not fit 2021? Or is 2021 just not listed in the application yet?

I was told from 2 shops- Bilstein didn’t make anything for the 21’ so if we do the latest model we may have to some mods to make them fit. I kinda think they were trying to upsell some local equipment. A 3rd shop quoted me the combo with no issues. However they were a smaller mom/pop shop so I’m a bit hesitant. Bilstein is here in SD County- Poway. I found a number to call to speak to a rep so I’ll keep y’all posted. This shouldn’t be so hard ‍♂️

The 21 is the exact same as the 20 model. The issue is the shops experience.

App list hasn’t been updated, the trucks are the same.

Well, I am confident there is no difference in the suspension. Toyota would probably not make a suspension change for one model year.

Thank you all for the feedback. I feel more comfortable in installing the “older” model :D.

although y’all right, when it comes to experience these are big name shops that are telling me this, So now It makes me wonder what else they don’t know.
    Geeze:monocle:
