I was thinking about the adjustable 5100’s but I’ve seen some threads about the 6112’s. Which one would be better? What’s the difference?

Own a 2019 Tundra with 6112’s, and had 5100 on my 2016 4Runner. 6112’s have a larger diameter piston and shock body when compared to 5100 (unsure of actual dimensions). The rebound is much more controlled with 6112’s which benefits daily driving comfort. The 6112 come with coil springs to match the truck and shock, for the price difference I’d say the 6112 is the easy choice.

Ditto on the 6112s, they are probably a better option since they some with new springs and I am sure replacing your stock 06 springs would be a wise choice.
