    Hi all,

Looking for recommendations of vendors who have the Bilstein 6112's in stock and can do the assembly for me. Going to go with 1.3 inch lift and 275/70r18.

Just want room in the front for the tire install and a bit of rake. I think the 1.9 would put me level.

My ride is a 2021 Tundra TRD Limited Double Cab.

Literally nobody has them right now. Call boss 4x4 and get on their wait list for mid December. I decided to go eibach front coilovers since they in stock and adjustable while on vehicle.

I have been waiting for a set of 6112's for nearly 6 weeks. Still no ETA when they might be in stock. I already purchased a set of 5160s for the rear.

It sucks to wait, but not really another option in the same price range.

I ended up pulling the trigger on the new Eibach Pro-Truck 2.0 Coil Overs for the front. I'm holding off on the rears as there are rumors they will have an external resevoir version soon.

The design is what intrigued me the most as the new version can be raised or lowered via a spanner wrench while installed in the truck. Comes from the factory set at 2" or so in height so we will see how that works out when installed. It's min-max adjustment range is 0-2.5" which is the most I will ever need. Need to take some measurements before install to see if shims will be needed or I will just adjust them on the truck.

I was about to do the same, and might if the 6112s dont show up soon. I do like the idea of being able to adjust the height via wrench, but prefer the 6112s as they have a larger tube body.

I just bought these too. Good deal with the discount and free shipping. I wonder if these springs will sag...I have the small gas tank but will have a bumper and winch that weigh 200 lbs together, along with about 40 lbs of armor under the engine. I'm going for 2 inches as well.

I believe it is recommended you have a higher rated spring for added weight,no matter the lift height.

I was in the same boat as the OP on this and kept waiting for the 6112s to come in stock. Been watching the Eibach Pro 2.0 coil overs to come down in price and seeing how everyone likes them. The wait is over and research is done.

I just received my shipping notification directly from Eibach saying my front and rears are on the way. I ordered them this past Friday. Free shipping and $934 out the door. So long Bilstein.

I went with Eibach myself and couldnt be happier.

Reason being was the fact Bilsteins were almost impossible to get. So, I tried something trustworthy besides Billys and couldnt be happier to have something different and great riding.

Theyre awesome riding. I do suggest if you are going to use the Eibach springs, to get a CB shim. I installed mine before I received my shim and it does sit a 1/2" lower on the driver side due to the lean (tank, driver, battery). So if you can wait, order one of those from Coachbuilder for 20 something shipped and youll be golden. I have yet to install my shim but I will at some point.

Do you need the shim? Aren’t the front coil overs adjustable? I was just gonna even it out with the wrench if it sat lower.

Sorry, I have the Stage 1 kit. Therefore the shocks arent threaded like the Stage 2.

If I had the Stage 2, it would be an easy jack the driver side up and adjust the coilover :thumbsup:

Yep, that was what I was thinking. I can’t imagine anyone buying something else after this new design in the 2.0. Glad I waited. I am assuming they will ride as good as the Stage 1.

Would there be any issues running the Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 up front and Bilstein 5160's in the rear? I already have the 5160's, and I am about done waiting for the 6112's I have an order for nearly 2 months. Plus I prefer the spanner adjustability of the Eibachs.

I wouldn’t think there would be any issues. If anything, you might swap the rears out on a later date. I should be getting mine soon and will let you know how they ride.

I ordered mine at the end of June, they’ve been pushed back to sometime in February now, in Canada.

Just an FYI, I spoke with Bilstein, and it appears that the next anticipated ship date of 6112's for the Tundras are March, 2022 :-(

I think it is time to look at a different option.....

Based on what Eibach has said these use their off the shelf 3” springs. So in theory you could buy a set of heavier Eibach springs to compensate for the added weight and have them swapped.

I actually called and asked Eibach about it and they said i should be fine since they are 650lb springs. I wanted it lower then the 2.5" lift setting that comes preset so I figure it may sag around 1/4 inch due to weight, which I would be Ok with. I have shims as well but not sure if I will need to use them.

Got it. Is 650lb the same as the stock springs?

That I am not sure of. I know the strongest rate springs I have seen talked about on here have been 700 lbs so its not too far off.

Not sure where you are in SoCal but Eibach lists Tundras on their list of vehicles needed for testing. Could be a cool way to get plugged in to their products.

I am very close to Eibach's shop. I looked at the website, but did not see that listed. Can you post a link? TIA

I cancelled my order for the 6112's and ordered the Eibach's today. I am still going to use the 5160's on the rear. Getting everything installed just after Christmas. Looking at a 2"-2.25" lift/level on the front end. I will also be adding the TRD rear sway bar as well.
