So I recently performed the Bilstein lift/leveling kit on my 2012 CrewMax Tundra. There may be a lot of people out there that already know and understand this, but when I was looking for information regarding this, I could not find much definitive by way of "will my truck aligndalign and doIdo need UCA's or not?".

I know the question is a little subjective and relative to what the use is going to be, I'm primarily 90% on road but hit the occasional Forest Service roads, "there's a ditch let's see if we can cross it", street medians, etc. That being said, I did not know if I would need upper control arms to keep alignment in spec. There's definitely a little bit of controversy surrounding this, but for a moderate lift, I was able to get everything aligned without issue. I think for my purpose, this will suffice. Rarely am I operating at full droop and CV angles seem to be not changed too much from previous. Considered a diff drop, but after a lot of reading and back and forth on this topic, I decided against it as I don't see much benefit in it per other well-seasoned members.

I have the results both before and after from my local Firestone. Take it for what it is! Hope some of you find it helpful. Enjoy

So I forgot to mention, I have the stock UCAs and I am at the highest setting on the 6112s.

I’ve got 6112’s at highest setting and stock UCA’s, it aligned fine.

Right on man! Yeah so far so good. Been enjoying it. I figure if and when something tears up with it I'll look at it then. But for now it saves me about 800 bucks

The top setting on the 6112 gives you 2.5 right or is it higher? I was looking at 1.9 to be level.

So I got after slight settling after a week, right at 2.4" from center of hub both sides.

That alignment sheet looks great to me! I installed Bilstein 5100s on the middle setting, and I had to take my truck to three places to get them to adjust the camber to the middle of the range. It was barely in the green at +1 degree on the right, and I could see the positive camber just by looking at the truck. I even went to the dealer twice because they didn't adjust it the first time! Finally they got it in the middle, and then admitted that my LCA bolts were rusty and hard to adjust. Would have been nice if any of those alignment shops just told me that instead of seeing green on the readout and handing me back my keys.
