    New around here but I think I can help you out so I'll chime in. Now I gotta start by saying I'm not a 100% expert but Bilstein's part numbering can be pretty confusing. They classify their shocks under 3 categories. B4 is a direct oem replacement with the same valving that comes on the vehicle from the factory. Typically your standard plug and play emulsion shock and is generally only found on cars and not their truck shocks. The B6 is a performance upgrade that fits the exact specs (i.e. ride height, weight tuning, etc) of the factory shock but uses monotube technology to optimize the performance of the factory specs. B6 is the 4600 line for stock height trucks. The B8 just designates lifted applications and includes 5100, 5160, 6112, 8100, and 8112 series shocks which are each designed for more and more specific applications and progress in technology and are obviously priced accordingly.

    The other thing with Bilstein is that they love to change their part numbers all the time for reasons beyond me. They'll have the same shock use 2 or 3 different part numbers over the course of a couple years even though nothing changed. I couldn't tell you which one is new or old but it shouldn't really matter. Judging by the two part numbers it looks like those are both the same shock but one is just listed at MSRP and one is discounted. Manufactures often don't provide the extended and collapsed lengths either so those are likely taken by whoever is selling them so a few hundredths is generally within the margin of error here so that doesn't necessarily mean they're different. Given they both are listed as off the shelf shocks for a 1st Gen Tundra, they're tuned for the factory weight and should be identical there too. I'd say they're both identical shocks that had the part number changed at some point.
