    Hello,

Just bought some Bilstein 5100s front and rears to level out my 23 Platinum. I’m running Nitto Recon 275/65/20s (34”) and looking for anyone who has this set up on your truck. I don’t have AVS and have the black hitachi shocks which suck tremendously. Wondering how the ride quality will be or if I should invest in better shocks. This is my daily driver and not an off road truck since this a 2WD. Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated. TIA!

Umm. Since you already have them in your possession, set your expectations low in hopes you feel a little better about the ride. In my opinion, they are very stiff. Adding height and compressing the oem spring only makes them worse. You have to keep in mind the 5100a are just an oem replacemebt shock that gives you the ability to lift. By lifting, you’re adding a ton of preload to the spring which makes the ride less compliant the higher you go. The truck then feels like it’s riding on wagon wheels. The 6112s are a big upgrade and ride farrrr better than the 5100s.

Appreciate the feedback @Danman34! I figured such and still on the fence about installing them.

Mine on a 2019 ride great. Hated the stock mush ride. I put E rated tires on at the same time, nothing but happy after 2 years.
