What's the closest to the TRD suspension set from Billstein......im pretty sure Billstein makes there set for the pro since the color and all match up except for the label.....so what's the model or part number to match that set up ....do you guys know?

6112/5160 is probably the closest if 1200.00 is your limit.

But you said your limit was $1200.

For 1200, you don't get a remote reservoir

He can get the PRO set up for $2400 but if he had that much to spend he could do better then a PRO setup!

Really? Damn I’d only ever heard that price in relation to the fronts, will need to remember that so I can give better info down the road.

I don't get the PRO obsession. You can have better quality suspension components for cheaper. One of the reasons I didn't buy a Pro when I got my new truck.

So what would you recommend for 1200.00 in parts alone?

Ask @trd1559 what he wants for his pro shocks. Not sure he's selling 'em but he's got some that aren't on his truck anymore.

    Some suspension tweaks
What about the ride though? I've read a lot of posts about how smooth the Pro suspension is on road and still remains capable for basic off road use. I'm going to pull my TRD Performance shocks off- I've gotten bored with the sharpness of the ride. I'm still looking hard at replacing everything with the Pro setup because I want the front leveled, but I want that "smooth" on road ride.
Mine is a pavement pounder but I don't want the Platinum mush suspension I had on there originally.
I've never ridden on Pro suspension but most of the postings I've read describe it as the ride I want.

    You could do:
-Bilstein 5100s that would be about $500 shipped, maybe get new coils.
-Complete OME lift (I would favor this with selections shown, pic below)
    -Bilstein 6112 & 5160

It really depends on what you want to do with the truck... Desert racing? save your money. Reliable with a lift? OME Looks and a small increase in the ride quality? 5100s

I just installed my 6112 fronts at 1.94 setting plus a coach builder shim on each side and 5100 rears with +2 shackles and like the ride way better than my best friends Pro.

Check boss4x4s.com for the best price assembled.

The shocks on the pro cannot be bought from bilstien. They are specifically designed for Toyota with 3 stage progressive valving.
Other available alternative shocks are adjustable and can be rebuilt.
Not everyone wants to adjust their shocks and many people would never rebuild one.
Recognizing that the pro suspension, which is designed just for the Tundra, does a really good job isn’t an”obsession”.
It’s true that the pro suspension works excellently both on and off road.

I would love to find a set of low mileage Pro suspension take offs for a good price. But most likely I will be doing the 6112/5160 setup. It’s a great deal at only $1k. That’s what I had on my 2015 Tacoma and the ride was great compared to stock.

We have TONS of options that will be under that price!!!

Check out Basic Eibach kit which comes pre-assembled in house here set at the 3'' of front end lift with NO "shims" or spacers, you are getting a full lift from shocks and springs!

    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/TTHA-TUN--ToyTecEibach-3-Lift-Kit--07Tundra_p_1828.html

The BOSS kit will come right above the $1200 price range but overall will give you great ride quality, durability, and FULL ride height adjustments (1-3'') WITHOUT "shims".

    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com...spension-System-for-07-Up-Tundra-_p_1219.html

Give me a shout if you have any questions!

    Thanks

    So much this^^^

The other day I was at residence that had 90% Toytec suspension. The new Radflo shock is a really nice combo.

ADS, King, ICON, Fox all make great products as well. How deep are your pockets is what I always say.
