BEWARE OF SCAMS

SO i got scammed almost 2,000 dollar s for so what i thought i was buying TRD rims/tires from someone named “David Sonsalla”.Everything seemed legit but i was the dumbass for e transferring” his buddy the money” in Canadian funds. Anyways just wanted to give everyone a heads up if you see him selling anything else stay away.

 

That’s sucks. Where do you engage with this guy at? FBMP? How were the funds transferred? Lots of ways to protect yourself in these scenarios

 

Did he send something other than what he had listed, or did just not send you anything?

 

All is said was tomorrow i will give you the tracking number i use fed ex. And then i asked for pictures of the rims and he sent them over no problem. Then i didnt hear anything on facebook then he musta blocked me cause I couldn’t communicate back with him. Got me for 1870.00 Canadian dollars…i thought it was all legit cause it said 1100.00 or 1200 shipped.. and i asked he said he could do 1300 shipped to Canada. And yeah.. i know too good to be true but he talked to me like he was a tundra owner and talked about shocks even and gave me part # for bilsteins..crazy…never been ripped off in my life until now.. just warning others so doesnt happen to them

It was also automatic withdrawals so it automatically got deposited to his buddy’s account im assuming and bank wouldn’t do anything for me , they say they need a police report to do anything…and yes police aren’t gunna do anything..

 

FB Marketplace is scam central. There's a reason people don't buy stuff that must ship on there. When I first got back on FB, I got taken for $200. Can't imagine being taken for $1000+

This was the email i sent e transferring to austeen140@gmail.com (Leon Kammegne Kamden) sounds like a new Canadians name but i wish i could track these people down. I’d take a flight wherever to beat there heads in.

He said the add was on 2nd gen toyota tundra section and took it down cause had other people messaging him about it.. which no doubt they would be at a price like that with 90% Michelin tread left
