    Hi all-
I am looking to lift the front end of my 2010 Tundra TRD SR5 double cab about 2". At the stock height, my snowplow receivers hit the pavement on potholes when the plow is on.

I was going to go the spacer route but today I took it in to have them installed my mechanic said A) he's pretty sure the shocks are about shot (they are the originals) and B) it looks like the bolts will snap off when he tries to remove the upper nuts holding coil over mounts. He feels I should replace the entire assembly, which after looking at it myself makes sense.

Sooooo, I am in the market for reasonably priced loaded coil overs that will give me about 2" or so of front lift.

He recommended Rancho quickLIFT RS999920 / RS999919 (left side, right side) https://www.gorancho.com/products/l...icklift-complete-strut-assembly-rs999920.html.
But after reading this thread, https://www.tundratalk.net/threads/rancho-quicklift.266913/ I am worried I won't get enough lift, or that they will not even fit properly. Having him take the stock springs from the truck and put them on the Rancho assemblies is not an option.

These are available from Rough Country, anyone have any experience with these?https://www.roughcountry.com/premiu...=2010-toyota-tundra-4wd-737468&sid=PxmjPi9UpD

I looked at the Bilsteins, but I can't find any loaded assemblies that are anywhere near my price range.

I did find these old man Emus: which are at the very edge of what I can afford but I could swing it. I am worried the ride will be too rough when I’m not carrying the plow.

I can use any some help!

    Thanks!

Don't go Rancho, not enough! Check Fat Bob's Garage Vated adjustable coilovers. I have them pushing 3.25" with a heavy Ranchhand bumper plus a front receiver, and a heavy grate protecting my radiator from anything that might get deflected upward behind the bumper and in front of the drawtite receiver. Plenty of weight up front and a nice ride with 700# springs on the coil overs.

Anyone know what the ride is like with the OMEs with the 613 springs when the front of the truck is not loaded down? Seems like those would do the trick with the plow on, but I don’t want to ruin the feel of the truck during the rest of the year.

In case anyone stumbles onto this thread, I went with the Bilstein 6112 on the 2” setting and they are working great.

I have Ranchos on the front. They leveled out my front at 2.8 inches exactly and no UCA or LCA swap needed.
Did do a re alignment which was needed.
Truck rides nicer than before and slightly firmer which I wanted.
    Everyday driving is superb.
