What's your favorite tow mirrors? I cracked one backing in and need to replace it. The field of view could be better and they were always difficult to extend. Looking for a better mirror.

    GuppyWN,

I have had the OEM tow mirrors for 8 years now. These are the best mod that I've done so far. I use them everyday. I recommend that you check these out; you will not be sorry.

    Regards,

Thanks, double the money worth it? I don't mind paying if they are that much better.

In my opinion, they were/are...I wanted Toyota quality for my mirrors...buy once, cry once.

I’ve been debating this for a bit. but the overhanging Secondary AIP issue is keeping me from pulling the trigger

Some go with OEM mirrors, some go with the aftermarket ones (budget) and a few are starting going with the GM ones I've seen on here

All depends what you are wanting out of your mirrors a d what features as well. Then it depends how much you are wanting to spend. I have never been a fan of the Tundra OEM tow mirror and at 265 a mirror you have options to pick from for same cost. I like what Boost auto has to offer for mirrors (GM style with DRL as options) and I have known people who have had them. I plan to get mine later this year.

Just google it. You’ll want to sue toyota. Mine went out of warranty in 2018. previous owner wrecked it in 2018 and it sat until December 2019 when i bought it. worked on it till March 1 2020 then on my second drive it happened. It’s miserable. and i’m gonna have to diy bc toyota charges 2-5k to do it. and the parts are $500.
