Hey everyone, I just leveled my 2014 tundra using bilstien 5100s on the highest setting (approximately 2.3") nothing done on the back. I like the look of bigger tires, what size would you recommend. I am keeping my stock 2014 wheels. I am willing to run spacers, but nothing over 1.25".

If you have pictures, it would be much appreciated.
    Thank ya

You looking to add height, width or both to the tire size???

Also, just a vote to try and stay away from spacers if you can (just my humble opinion)...

I'm looking at maybe trying to get around 34" in height if it would fit, width doesn't matter to me as much. Since I am running stock wheels (just my preference), I figured I would have to get some spacers since there is barely any room between the tire and upper control arm. I have gone through the official size thread multiple times. Currently thinking 285/70r18 or 295/70r18.

A 295 is super, super close (⅛") to the UCA. A 285 gives you another ¼" of UCA clearance. Lots of good tire options in either size, but most run a 285/75r18 on 2" lift without issue.
Personally I run a 285/70r18 (not as many options) on 1" of lift and no issues.

x2 on the 285/75 (closer to 35) or 285/70 (closer to 34 and probably your safest choice)...

Most of the rubbing issues seen w/285s and 295s on stock wheels w/a leveled truck happen when OE wheels are used w/spacers...

The spacer ends up pushing the tallest part of the tire out of the sweet spot of the wheel well. Your best bet is the OE wheels, no spacer and probably just removing the small flap forward of the tire and possible if anything else maybe reshaping some of the rubber in the wheel well with a heat gun (but probably won't have to do that)...

    ^^ Yes to this.

Also, if you have the SR5 skid plate, you will likely have to trim the wings or remove it.

So you think I could get a 285/75r18 to fit with just a little trimming, what about spacers?

Not necessary. might actually cause the need to trim more.

If you're 2"+ lift, those tires will fit just fine on stock wheels. You may or may not have to remove the little forward (front) mud flap/wind spat; and possibly trim the engine skid plate if you have the SR5 one.

    Let me try again...

Most of the rubbing issues seen w/285s and 295s on stock wheels w/a leveled truck happen when OE wheels are used w/spacers...

IE>>> Spacers are going to cause you more rubbing problems that standard offset of the OE wheels. They also cause premature wear to the bearings and other components, they essentially change the geometry of the front suspension and have had failures.

If you want 'poke' then just buy wheels with an offset that will give you that look and understand that if the wheel is not tucked properly into the wheel well it's gonna rub during full articulation.

Bought my 2020 Tundra in May and it has 295/70R 18's with a spacer and a small lift.Im not sure what all has been done to the suspension but it rides and looks nice IMO.IMG_20240504_072612981_HDR.jpg

285/75-18 fit well on Pros or leveled trucks with stock wheels. Can keep the mudflaps, no UCA issues either. Just need to remove the front air flaps at base of front bumper.

any less rim offset than the stock +60 might need some other tweaks for no rubs

Thanks. I try and keep her looking as good as I can for an everyday driver that I also use as a truck!

Here are a couple of the current setup.
2 inch lift up front, 1 in back. RAS, TRD rear sway, 285/75-18s

Another vote for 285/75R18. 2" lift up front here; 1" in the rear from RAS:

I am running 275/70r18 with +25mm offset and at full lock I have less than an inch from the rear wheel well. Seems like 33's are all I can run with out trimming. others have good advice here of sticking with higher offset for larger tires.

I also run 275/70/18 on Rims with a +18 offset, I had to remove the small front flaps and push in the skid a little with a dead blow hammer. I rub a little on full lock, but I temper my driving to avoid it. 5100s on mid setting

2014 DC 2” (leveled) up front, no change to rear. 295/70r18 on stock wheels no spacers. UCA was TIGHT.

    IMG_0627.jpg
2019 crewmax 1” lift up front. No change to rear. 285/70r18. Much more comfortable with the UCAs

I ran spacers on my 2011 CM with a 6" lift, and 35x12.50r20 pro comp with Mickey Thompson Bajas. I like the look. People usually stop around me and wait until I move in parking lots.. sits quite a bit higher than my 2017 now...lol
