Best Place to buy ScanGuage 2/ Newest firmware version

Any suggestions on the best place to buy a ScanGuage 2. I have read several reviews where someone bought an old firmware version and had to pay to update it. Who moves a lot of these so I would have a good chance of buying a newer one?

 

probably best bet is directly from the manufacturer for the most recent firmware. I bought mine back in the day off autozone.

what does the newest firmware get you?

 

Tire pressure monitoring is the big one that I saw. I have an older one as well and would like to update it at some point.

 

Same here. I'm going to email them and ask if there is any indicator on the packaging.

 

I dont think you can buy direct because they have one of those find a retailer buttons. and I wasnt sure what extra you got with the update, I just always like to have the latest tweaks to any program.

 

Yes you can buy direct. I was on their site earlier. I did send them an email asking if there are any identifiers on the packaging regarding the firmware.

So I received an email back from them. If you purchase locally and it does not have the newest version, contact them and they will swap it at no charge. If you purchase directly from them, it is guaranteed that it will ship with the newest firmware.
