All right Fellas….I need some opinions and pics if you have em’. I’m getting a Pro-Comp lift kit for my 2022 Tundra…..2.5” on the front and 1” on the back. What’s the best looking all terain tire to put underneath?
    - 295/60/20
    - 285/65/20
    - Something Else?

I’ve got the TRD Sport in Lunar Rock w/20” stock black rims.

Can’t comment on the ‘best looking’ per se…very subjective to wants, tastes, needs and prices.
Mine are Atturo Trailblade X/T…no best by any means but good deal a few years back at DT and decided to keep ‘‘em till the rubber burns off as they have served me well…so that how they got picked.

Did have a question on your ProComp lift though:

-Is it the newly released lift kit seen here or something else?

In on this thread w regards to that lift kit. Very interested in a solution here due to the rear air suspension. Any concerns w voiding out our warranties w this kit? Anxious to get a lift and was gonna wait on the TRD Pro suspension that's due to come out ny summer...or by August per se?

What wheel specifications are you running? Are you staying stock?

What size tires are your Trailblade X/T?
Yes, the ProComp lift kit is the newly released one.

I did have concerns about the lift kit voiding the warranty. I talked with the dealership (who recommended this shop) and the shop itself. The shop that is doing the install offers the same warranty as the truck so I’ll be covered either way if something goes wrong. I was going to wait for the factory lift kit but couldn’t wait any longer….no telling when they will release it.

I’m sticking with the stock wheels. They are the black 20” wheels that came with the TRD Sport Package. Personally, I like the way the 18” wheels look but didn’t want to spend the extra money on new rims.

Lol. I hear you about cant waiting any longer. Love my truck but dying for rock slider style running boards and the TRD pro suspension lift. Looks like you may have found a sweet solution for the lift!

I just love the ko2 look, capable off road but not horrible on road.

I wouldn’t settle, this is where my wheels came from and their reasonably priced.

    https://www.battlebornwheels.com/products/garage-sale-items?variant=40907092983992

BUT….. if you still keep the OE wheels then I would suggest a hybrid tire. They look aggressive but yet have little noise and they function well in all weather types. Not to mention mileage rating on some if you care about those.

    275/65 Cooper Rugged Trek
    - 34.65x11.5 weighs 63 lbs

    285/65 Nitto Ridge Grappler
    - 34.80x11.5 weights 63.71 lbs

    285/65 Goodyear Ultraterrain
    - 34.5xidk weights 58 lbs

There are many many other options. You just have to find what fits your style and pocketbook. As far as pictures, you’ll have to go through the forum. I can’t help there

Sorry…They are 295/70/18’s…probably the biggest I’m ever going to go…May even step down 1 size after these are done as a few of those 285’s I have seen looks nice and balanced.

Will decide when I get a lift and new wheels.

Was wanting to wait on the TRD kit also but running sharif the price ($4K parts + tax+ installation)…

So looking/waiting for something between a spacer lift and the TRD price/quality wise

Well damn…that’s a whole 12lbs per tire lighter than what I am running…

Definitely will look into these if I can get rid of my current set (maybe as a package with the OEM wheels in a few weeks)

Since my 17 inch wheel was shot down for fitment reasons I went to an 18 inch wheel that weighs 27 pounds and these tires are a little more than stock setup but not too bad for that size tire

Yep these are the only larger than stock AT tires in 18 inch that at standard load. Sure wish there were other options, even C load would be great. Running E load myself and sure would love to drop back on that load range.

We run ko2’s on our fleet vehicles and they’re pretty darn good. I don’t know if I’d chance them on my baby (on my 17 I ran studded) but they are great tires. I drive a cargo van and it’s pretty good in our awful climate. Snow, ice slush…

KO2 is legendary for being a good looking tire, but my second choice is Cooper AT3 XLT.
I just got a new set today after getting 80,000 miles on the previous set, and they are good looking also.

80,000 miles! Most RAMs don't last that long.

Just picked up the Terra Grappler G2s and they look amazing. Did a 600 mile trip over the past week and they aren’t too bad in terms of noise for an AT tire (some humming between 50-75 mph that dissipates around 80+mph). I will say that I’ve lost 2MPG compared to the factory Yokohamas but it’s worth it to me for the look!

I think this is the perfect size. I’m running the same size just different tire. With a leveling kit and offset wheel it looks mean without having too much tire on the wheel well

I agree! This is the largest I could go (non-TRD) with no rubbing. I’m thinking of adding a leveling kit (waiting for them to release one compatible with the air suspension) and think that this tire/size will still look great after.

    best looking?
kind of a subjective goal so it might be tough to suggest anything but the most popular A/T tires as tires that are loud, balance shitty, are excessively heavy robbing power and acceleration, have paper thin or overly stiff sidewalls or wear prematurely will surely piss you off making you hate them regardless how they "look".

What wheels are you running? Wouldn’t think a slightly larger tire would rub.

Of course it’s subjective, most of the forum is. Some people would like feedback of others so they can make a better “subjective” decision. The end result is still on that person, no matter how it turns out.

of course. that's exactly why i responded as i did. mud tires are garbage on ice yet people still buy them 100% based on looks and then sell them immediately after realizing they're going to wreck their truck. my advice to OP was buy proven a/t tires and learn to like how they look.

I went with the wheels below. The dealership told me with the wheel/tire combo I’m running that I couldn’t go any bigger without rubbing.
