Ordered the BDS 7" Coilover lift kit for my Tundra, I'm going to adjust the front Coilover preload so I have 6" inch of lift in front. I want to swap the blocks, going to get the +3 Coachbuilder Shackles. I'm looking for some leaf packs that provide 3" lift (Yes I know I will have around of 0.75" rake). I tow 100-400 pounds once in a while (hardly once a month). Looking for a leaf pack that won't sag to quickly, provide good ride quality and have a decent spring rate (spring rate is last of my worries). Love to get some recommendations/guidance. Open to Add-A-Leaf options too.

3-1 level kit with add a leaf. 295/70/18r cooper max. Spider head light tail light and third brake light, tint, badges off, ladder racks, trd pro grill, color matched hood bulge, grab handle, coach builder +2, dv8 front bumper with winch, fender flares, bed cover....
Just a heads up coachbuilder +3 doesn’t give you 3” or lift. It gives 1.75 I think

Call Jeff or Scott at Deaver Springs and talk with them, tell 'em what you want and they'll make it happen. That's the only real way to get what YOU want instead of some sort of generic, one size fits all box store band aid.

Yes I know but, the back sits higher than the front, Front: Coilovers for 6in lift upfront. Rear: +2in rake, +1.75in from CB shackle and +3in leaf= 6.75" rear! making me have 0.75" rake

That's up there with the Icon Kit ($787.45) might have to look into custom ones. Thanks!

I'm running them now with Locked offroad triple bypasses. CB+1 shackles & rxt pack without the added leaf. The truck drives really well with this set up, on & offroad. I tow with this setup as well.

I rarely have a load or rarely drive my truck as a matter of fact and am unsure if I really need a total custom pack, I can also spend that difference on other mods.

There is no comparison lol. I’m on second setting. I think it’s 3” with no weight. And it rides great. Even better with a little weight. Funniest thing is my mpg went up almost 1 mpg because of the rake. So right there it pays for itself

I truck doesnt have a load as well, to & from work with an empty bed & it drives fine. I'm just saying that it's also a solid set up for towing or if you've got a loaded bed.

Your wanting to stack long shackles on rxt springs? Might want to call icon and ask how long the leafs will last.

How about +2 coachbuilder shackles? Unless you recommend me going 4" leafs only instead of a leaf and shackle combo just want a smooth ride and reliability. It's a Pavement Princess if that helps

Well, if I have learned anything in the last several years, it’s that Toyota leaf springs are long and narrow. Lift leafs are longer than factory. Longer shackles dearch the leaf springs faster than short ones. So a longer spring needs a short shackle, or a long shackle needs factory springs.

Blocks tend to flatten out the leafs quickly due to deflection on acceleration wrapping the leaf.

Best thing to do is buy the correct custom leaf but it’s expensive. Not trying to tell you to do anything, just trying to make you aware so you aren’t surprised later.

I was originally looking at going +1 shackle and using all 4" of lift from the icon rxt pack but, that gave only ~0.625in rake. I like a truck with a little bit of rake to it. I'm fine going with that too, it seems like the safer option. I will contact icon regarding this matter.
