Hello, I am replacing a light on my YOTA LED grill lights (2021 Platinum) and when I reinstall, I would like to put the "add a fuse" into a spot where it will come on with the headlights. (not in the INJ location which turns them on when truck is running)- see pic.

Their website says to do this you can tap into H-LP LH-LO, but I do not see that in my fuse box, am I missing something?

Can someone share where in the fuse box this can be done? Maybe a safe alternate location that you chose for this?

I tapped into the parking light on the driver's side headlight.
Put a 2 amp fuse inline to the grille lights.
Also, put a Deutsch connector inline for when I need to pull the grille.

Lights come on with parking and headlights.

If you use those fuses in the instructions, the grille lights will only come on with the HEADLIGHTS on.

If that is what you want, you can find those fuses under the hood in the UNIT C area.
The bottom right corner of your picture.
I think they just described them wrong.
Clearly they describe using these fuses the lights would only come on with the headlights.

It would be better to have them come on with the parking lights.
I would tap into the parking light like I did.
I've been running it that way for 8 years without an issue.

But if you want a fuse to tap into, the TAIL fuse, although it is under the dash.
The TAIL fuse feeds all the exterior parking/running lights.

A big help... thanks for the info. So you're saying you can either use the 'add a fuse' in UNIT C (under hood box), or route wire through firewall into interior box and put 'add a fuse' in the TAIL slot? Or use the (better) method you did? Am I understanding correctly?

The fuses they describe are simply the headlight fuses.
The bottom right corner of your fuse box pic.
If you want the grille lights only to come on with the HEADLIGHTS, use it.
But they won't come on with the parking lights.

If you want them to come on with the parking lights (and headlights), use my method or the tap into the TAIL fuse under the dash.
Your grille LEDs are going to draw very little power/amperage.
I only put the 2 amp fuse inline if one of them grounded out, which is unlikely.
It would blow the smaller 2 amp fuse before it blew the OEM 10 amp fuse.
But I've yet to have any issues since I installed them 8 or so years ago.
