Best exhaust to run with JBA long tubes and catless midpipes

I just finished the ridiculous installation of JBA longtube headers and catless midpipes. The exhaust I was running prior to the headers is still hooked up; a Flowmaster super 44 with dual-in dual out 2 1/2" pipes all the way out the back. The sound right now is unbelievably LOUD but worse than that is I feel that I have gained NO HP or TQ. I'm assuming that the system is just choked out right now. I've been looking at the MBRP 3" system with 2 large flow through mufflers (one on each pipe). Anyone running longtubes and catless midipes please give me your thoughts.

 

I’m under the impression that if you’re doing a dual, an x-pipe is needed to minimize tq loss. Also, these motors respond MUCH better to a single tailpipe setup.

Yeah, I already spoke with Keith. I don't have the $ for his setup right now. I was hoping for some other more economical options. I have a local shop that does a pretty legit job, just wanted to get feedback on types of mufflers, x-pipe or no, can I stay with the 2 1/2" pipes or do i need to upgrade to a 3", etc...

 

What did Keith recommend?

 

For best results he recommended his 3" stainless cat back system for $1099 +shipping. Tail pipes would be another $1099 plus shipping. I've spoken w/Keith on a couple of occasions and he definitely knows his $#&@. I would without hesitation say that he is the authority on Tundra exhaust as he has done dozens and dozens of different setups with testing to back it up. I just can't afford that kind of money right now. I'm looking for the best setup with my dual2 1/2" pipes that I'm running right now.
