I know its been asked before but looking for updated opinions,

I have been using K&N engine filters in my 2017 Tundra and wife's 2015 Camry, not really impressed! I am ready to try something different or better and have heard the basic OEM filters are good!

Any recommendations on engine and cabin filter,

    Thanks!

I'm staying with OEM for air and oil filters.

I've been using the TRD reusable intake filter but for the cabin I've been using these (5 stars out of over 3,000 reviews):

Fram on both. Don’t think it’s a major difference

OEM Toyota cabin filter and AFE Pro Dry S for the air filter. I can't say that I've noticed any major improvement with the AFE but it's washable so it'll save me some money in the long run and its synthetic so no oil is needed.

Depending on driving conditions you may not need to do the quite simple cleaning and re-oiling of the K&N until 50K miles.

That sounds good being I have only 11,000 and I haven't done any 4wheeling or dusty road as of yet!

Dusty road conditions tend to speed up the re-cleaning process. Main thing is whatever filter you use..just change it when it's dirty. AFE drop ins are good. I wish S&B would make a re- usable drop in .
