What's up folks...I'm new to the forum and among other things, I joined to specifically ask this question: any thoughts on the best aftermarket radio for my 2020 Tundra TRD PRO? I'm looking to replace a Pioneer MVH-2400NEX (which I am no where near a fan of!) that came with the truck. The features I'm looking for the unit to have: touchscreen, bluetooth, works with OEM backup camera, SiriusXM (preferably without needing to connect the external antenna), on screen navigation; Spotify, and generally I would like to retain as many of the factory functionality as possible, such as the manual a/c controls, ability to see vehicle status, etc... right off hand, I can't think of any other must-haves. So thank you for your help in advance...SOULJAA

Well I'll of course recommend the Kenwood DMX1057XR or DMX1037S (virtually the same unit)

Is the "best"? It is certainly full-featured however it has a certain "nanny" implemented by google that I don't care for: The Android Auto will not resume after I turn off the vehicle, I must manually poke an icon on the unit to pick up where I left off. (The AA is wireless which is very nice)

I've heard that Pioneer doesn't have this particular nanny - but that's unconfirmed. They have some fine 10" units as well although they don't come with a volume dial. This was the main reason I picked Kenwood.

Regardless of what you pick, there will be something even better in a couple years.

I seem to have read somewhere this is a firmware/google issue and that it may be resolved in a future update. That said, google isn't exactly known for fixing things very quickly. I'm still getting notifications on an issue submitted nearly a decade ago on Android.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! I'm not actively looking for a replacement head unit, but if the "perfect" one pops up I will definitely check it out thoroughly.

Thanks for all of the welcomes!
I will look into the Kenwood, especially since my unit blacked out a few times today when heading home from church. Eventually, the unit came back on and the music resumed thru the SiriusXM app. The app didn’t stop or close out on my phone; only the radio seemingly lost power. My wife read that is an issue Pioneer has, so we’ll see. :notsure:
