Just returned from a weekend camping trip, 700 miles round trip. I admit, I worked this bitch hard on the way home. Unloaded the trailer, pulled into the garage and heard squeaking and a faint rattle from the area of the belt tensioner. Turned off the AC and it went away. Turned the AC back on the sounds returned. A quick search on Amazon found a Dayco for 41 dollars, Prime ! Lol.
Gonna do it myself, Should be easy.

Interesting, wouldn’t have thought of the tensioner if turning off the AC quieted the squeak.

So, you’re sure it’s not the AC clutch going bad? If it is the tensioner, that’s a nice cheap fix.

You could be right about the AC clutch I'm basing it off of the known belt tensioner issue.. I'll install the tensioner on thursday or friday and report back.

I would almost bet, it is the ac clutch. Hopefully not though.

Sorry. Probably should’ve kept my big mouth shut! Hope I’m wrong. Maybe try a little WD-40 on the belt. Just for shits and giggles

WOW ! what a difference ! super quiet. No squeaking or rattling with or without the AC. I believe the AC clutch helped me diagnose the pulley due to the AC clutch engaging and putting more of a load on the already bad tensioner. I put the old tensioner on the vice and was able to feel some play on the pulley. A good day and a mini Corona to top it off. Lol

Was surprised to see Dayco as the OEM part.
