Theme beers can sometimes be overwhelming. How are these, @Thegr8punkin, obvious or subtle?

@Sean266, I'm probably not gonna appreciate the watermelon; I got turned off IPA's by an episode of bocholism that left me with an aversion. But I'll be all over the apricot ale. It looks awesome!

Well, I'll tell you, most people grow into sours. One more way you're unusual in your approach. I appreciate it!

Tbh I hate the overall taste of beer. My go to for awhile was mikes hard and I think that sours just have that familiar taste to them.

I’m not a big IPA guy, at all. Watemelon Doardo is far from a true IPA, IMO.

Aaaaaaall right then. I'll try it. I can probably put it in a mix-and-match collection at BevMo. I will say, you haven't steered me wrong so far.

There's people who drink beer to catch a buzz. Then there's your true beer drinkers who drink for the taste and the conversation between them. I'm the latter. Just sayin. I have knocked backed a couple of Mikes hard lemonade. SALUTE!

Best I can say is it was tasty... I'm not a big porter / stout guy... I'd certainly have more of it! One I really like is Hop Valley VIP ... vanilla infused porter brewed here in Eugene... there are some chocolate stouts I've tried at some local brewfests that have been really good... perhaps I should do some research!

Have you been to their tasting room in Redmond? Kind of a cool place... I got a flight to try their beers... I liked the hef... but I not many others lit my fire... I'd go back for more research...

I haven't, yet. My wife and I did like a brewery tour over the summer of some spots in Bend. Totally forgot about Wild Ride. Their Hefe is tasty and I like the Peanut butter stout even better.

Did you check out Boneyard? Their tasting room is kinda funky... but their beer is AMAZING, and their swag is really cool!

We did Crux, Bend Brewing, Worthy and Deschutes. Deschutes is just decent to me. I wish we would have gone somewhere else. Crux was by far my favorite.

Crux has some tasty brews! Cool setting too! We had a good lunch at Worthy... I like their IPA.... and they had good music playing... maybe I need to head over the hill... visit some friends and do more sampling... mmmmmm.... beer...

I couldn’t quite bring my self to finish it... some the best beer to drink is the one you enjoy drinking, and It was good but not something easy to drink for me. I can easily see that as an acquired taste.

I did a search and found they sell a crap metric ton of gear. For people into their beer or skull-themed stuff, it's pretty cool! And $5 coozies....

Brewed in Windsor Colorado. Pretty dang good beer! The blueberry flavor in this thing is top notch; but doesn’t over power the flavor. Just enough to have you keep coming back for more. 4.8 ABV.

    Brewed here in Austin, TX.

Mikkeller Brewing “windy hill” NE-IPA out of San Diego. Pretty good color and aroma. Not the stickiness of an imperial or double that is common of the New England style but very good. 7% abv, 70 ibu’s. Classic ipa character. Less of the “this beer is bitter so let’s call it an IPA” but actually flavorful. 9E3454FA-F6C3-4532-A58D-E05C281B77B7.jpg
