I am not one of those pumpkins snobs that drink and buy everything pumpkin. I do enjoy pumpkin beer though. Pumpkin after taste is there didn't notice it so much on the front end. It's a 7.6 so it's on the heavier side. I think it's pretty good. If your looking for a potent pumpkin taste this is what your looking for.

The Shipyard one is way more potent on the pumpkin taste than the Laurelwood one i was drink earlier.

 

Is there a like beer trading thread any where? I'd love to get some crafts from other parts of the states and ship some local beer from different breweries.

 

No sir. We have this beer place that mainly sells local craft stuff from the PNW area and few different import beers from Germany. I need to figure out how to get some east coast stuff.

 

Holy shit! They sell it at the beer store I go to! Guess I'm going back tomorrow.

I'm not a big lager fan but this one is pretty good. Sweet malt taste

I love me a beer from Bend! Oregon beers ROCK!

 

My wife and got a kid free weekend over the summer and went to Bend and did a brewery tour. Stopped at Bend Brewing, Crux, Worthy, and Deschutes. One of the better weekends I've had.

ESB 5.1abv usually my least favorite style beer, this one is pretty good. Rich thick, malty flavor

 

Is that an app for your phone you use for the beer info or just on the internet?

 

Yeah it's called Untappd, I use it mostly to get notifications from breweries about beer releases. You can also use it for bottle shops, supermarkets etc. I like it better than ratebeer or beer advocate personally. The OP likes for everyone to leave a review of beers they post and that's the easiest way for me.

Ever try anything from Boneyard? I like many of their beers, but their RPM IPA is hands down one of my favorites! And their swag is really cool...

Interstellar burst- triple Crossing brewing RVA
DIPA 8%abv canned on 8/9 as still tasty as hell. I think the flash on my phone broke not trying to be artsy in the pic

#2 and #4 on the list both from Triple Crossing in Richmond

 

I'll admit, I bought this based solely on the brewery name. Kept saying to my wife, "you get it?!"

As for the IPA, it wasn't anything special.

 

2015 Resolute double vanilla bourbon barrel aged stout- Brothers craft brewing Harrisonburg VA
13.5 ABV vanilla is obvious but not too sweet the bourbon gives it a nice boozy finish. Top notch stout bottle 441 of 600

Moskow Mule. Very light tasting. A little on the sweet side.
Tommy Knocker Blood Orange. Solid Ipa and right in my wheelhouse. ABV 6.0/ IBU 55%. Thanks Sean .

Abita Brewery
Blueberry Wheat
4.4% abv
Notes of fresh Louisiana blueberry with wheat malt and very strong blueberry taste

If you like blueberry this beer is for you. Highly recommended

 

Like all Dogfish Head beers that I've had, I'd buy again. Taste better out of the bottle than from tap. Pumpkin and nutmeg, a bit smooth and not overly sweet. It's like a mature pumpkin beer.

 

Me likey. Not too strong of pumpkin, but does have fall flavors of cinnamon etc. Very smooth. Made in Milwaukee WI. Bottle had no info on ABV. Oh well. Would buy again.
