Citrus aroma with a taste of hops. This would make a solid post mowing the lawn beer.

Will it fit the category of "I'm thinking of mowing the lawn.... but I'll just have a beer instead...."?

I second this. However, if you take a sip, set it down, chill for a minute, take another swig, watermelon taste comes back. If you drink too fast it gets lost on your pallet. Problem is it's smooth enough to wanna drink fast :D

    Good Chit Pilsner
    5.3%
Named with a play on words on a malting term (“chit” refers to the tiny rootlets that grow from the grain during the germination phase of malting), this generically labeled “pilsner” is brewed with floor-malted barley and Liberty hops from Rogue Farms.

Pours a lightly hazy straw color with a nice head of white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin light layer, and showcases nice light lacing. Nose of nice light honey malts, light grain notes, and subtle cracker. Flavors exceed the nose by presentation with grain flavor.
Light lemon zest and hop flavor that is nicely balanced and herbal.

Pours a small head, but it's short lived.
Sweet and easy on the palate. The apricot really shines through on this one, with a small sweet taste following. 12% abv but you'd never know it. Hidden well within the honey and apricot notes.

    Another one courtesy of @rons23

Oatmeal IPA. Label says it has citrus notes and aroma, but I did not pick up on the fruits it noted; to me has a nose of apricot and taste too. After I read the label I picked up on the grapefruit, but that could be cause now my mind is looking for it. It's an IPA but not very hoppy (which is good cause I don't like the bitterness of a lot of IPAs). Totally surprised by the taste, not what i was expecting. I like it!

The name of this beer is too long to type, but I like it. Hazy IPA by Sonoma Springs Brewing. It's a NE-style brewed with several different delicious hop varieties. 7.5% apv.

Double down. Now I'm having a Curious Hazy by Device Brewing in Sactown, CA. I'm really digging the NE style IPAs. However, this one is not the best representation I've had. 7% apv.

Stopped in a local bottle shop and they had just received their Pliny allocation of... one case. Bottled nine days ago, so nice and fresh. I was only allowed to buy one bottle. So lame.

Pours hazy with a very small head. Taste is definitely a tart peach flavor at the end with a bit of sour. Smells as labeled.

Yes, I grabbed a pumpkin beer in August.
Pours a small head and dark as most porters do.
Small hints of pumpkin aroma, but not many spices and more of a roast Porter style

    IMG_4205.jpg

@Sean266 ready reviewed so I won't go into too much detail. But from my POV, peach flavor is light, but cinnamon and all spice comes thru in the nose and palette. Has those fall smells and flavors that keep you coming back for more sips. Awesome choice @rons23 and might have to send you a check for more once September rolls around LOL!
