    Smelled great like a snickers bar! Tasted good with a hint of peanut butter with a more pronounced chocolate note. A very smooth stout with distinct flavors found in each sip.


    That sounds so good. I'm at work sitting on a train.:annoyed:

    Now I'm not a huge IPA drinker. I prefer a nice porter personally but this one here is the best one I've ever tasted! I'm not sure if the date brewed has any affect on the taste of an IPA but I will definitely be looking out for more of these.

    Another great choice of @Noodle!

    Bit of a citrus taste, and some hops. For a double IPA it's pretty damn good! Not overly bitterly or sweet.

    Just a thought, gents: some of you post a beer- that's great. However, there's no insight to it on specifics of taste, etc. I post my thoughts on it in case someone was looking at purchasing it.

    2 new one's. First one don't remember taste. That will speak for how my night went. Haha. 2nd one came from the neighbor, told myself no beer today, but who turns down free beer. This one was a little hoppy, but was smooth and good aftertaste.

    Abita is everywhere where I'm at and I get some nice different ones (ones in TN are pretty much the same everyday....much better the closer you get to Covington) whenever I head home. I'll remember to get a couple and send them yalls way!

    Edit: just looked and those you can only get in New Orleans.....the doc and I are going to nawlins sometimes this summer, don't let me forget to get some for y'all!

    Small taste of pine / citrus / orange taste. Ends up being a tropical fruit flavor that's not overly sweet by any means.

    Small taste of hops- perfect for me as I'm not a big hops guy.
