Beeping

Have a 2023 Tundra. Today on a trip after driving about 100 miles I stopped for lunch at a cafe and backed into a parking space. Upon cutting the truck off it started beeping. The truck is off and its just keeps beeping. So i crank it up, pulled up and backed in the space, it beeping all this time. Cut it off a second time and it continues beeping noise. There was no dashboard of any thing wrong. So we went in had lunch and back to the truck and he beeping had stopped......Continued on our trip and no more beeping........Anyone have any idea what caused the beeping? Thanks in advance for replies.

 

Look at the left side of your dash and it might be telling you what's wrong. Doors not closed, windows not up, tailgate down, not in park.......
Check for passenger in the rear seat warning (baby) could also be one too? That has to be turned off in the HUD.

 

My DashCam did that to me once, early in ownership, not sure what triggered it. Had to search the site to figure out how to make it quit. Hasn’t done it since. It may have a light flashing on it, if that’s what your beeping is/was.
