I have had a picture a tundra in some shape or another on my wall for the last 8 years.

i feel like kind of poser, because i know nothing about trucks really, just always loved tundras, and the one i bought recently came with kings, the TRD exhaust and god knows what else, i was planning on buying a used stock(ish) and then adding upgrades over the next few years, but this literally has everything i would ever dream of adding and it was the right time for me to pull the trigger

For the last 5 years i was driving a 2002 sport trac, that little truck crushed and it gave me everything it could, never gave me any problems in 2’ of snow.

milage and price were both a little high but i couldn’t resist after loooking seriously for the last several months

chrome delete is chipping/wearing off in a few places, not sure exactly how the last owner did it

but I’m just excited to learn from you guys and finally be a an actual part of this community i have been lurking around for the last several years.

planning on a oil change and transmission fluid drain and fill in 5K miles, anything else i should be looking at? Truck is at 117K on the odometer

    future plans:
    Some better snow tires
A shell possibly(but need to afford a shell and then a new bike rack/hitch set up at the same time)

    Welcome from NY.

That's a 2018 with an older TRD PRO grille, where did they mount the TSS sensor?

I’m not sure, it looks like it’s in the bottom center, because i had someone mention with that grill i could not have adaptive cruise control, but that worked fine on my four drive home so the previous owner must have accounted for that

Nice truck, rarer color and has the BBS wheels too. Best cab configuration as well haha. Id just go get all the fluids done right now for a clean start. Might do the two air filters, sparkplugs, run a can of seafoam through the gas tank and 8oz in the oil.

I have heard about the sea foam, i need to do a little more research/find some foam

the dealer changed all of the filters and plugs before i bought it, no matter what i will drain and fill transmission fluid

Would not have been surprised if the previous owner was on this site
