I just purchased the bedrug classic bed mat for my 22 tundra with the 6.5ft bed. All model numbers match up like I recieved the correct product but the fit is worse then I was expecting. There between 1/2" to 1" gap around the perimeter of the bed with the worse area at the front. The cut out areas around the wheel wheels and front and rear corners also fit poor.

From anyone that has one of these is this fit normal or did I receive a defective product? If anyone could share pictures of their bed mat fit that would be great!

Just went out and measured. Rear of bed has 1in gap.

1/2" gap along both sides including around wheel well

3/4" gap at front of bed

Corners at front driver and front passenger side.

    Lots of stuff!
I think mine is pretty well fitted but I will check later and post some pics.

I have the rug with the tailgate extension and it seemed to fit pretty good but I haven’t looked at it lately.

Might be a QA issue with yours. Mine fits fairly tight to the walls. There might be .25” of a gap uniformly all the way around. I also have the BedRug XL with the tailgate coverage.

I also have the bed rug classic, for my 5.5 bed. Ill have to go take a closer look later, but i think mine has a little "wiggle room" around on all sides too.

Looks like it was a manufacturing mess up. Mine fits very well; also a 6.5' bed. I would send the pictures to the vendor and ask for a replacement.

My XL has a little wiggle room as well but I'm very happy with it. Let us know what you find out.

Do you have any pictures you can share showing the fit of yours?

I just heard back from bedrug customer service and their initial statement is that 1/2-1" is normal. I just sent some photo's back and will see what they have to say.

These pics will hopefully show you the fitment around the front, wheel wells and rear of my BedRug:

Official answer from Bedrug customer service right now is that this is a normal amount of gap. Does anyone have photos of bedrug mat or bedrug xlt in a 22+ truck?

Reasearch may not have done any good in the case of a mistake in manufacturing.

I'm about to purchase one soon, also to help my fridge plate setup not slide around, so hopefully it'll be perfect all around and give me padding to crawl around on the one side, and keep things in place on the other (corner tie-downs in the front/rear drivers-side as well).
