Looking to get an OEM bed extender. All parts site agree that PT329-34100 is the OEM extender, the problem is the mounting bracket. PT329-34100 says PT329-34101 is the bracket to use, but when I look to order that part they say it isnt compatible for 2000-2003. So just wondering if I can actually use this bracket. I kinda want to go with OEM everything and would rather not drill into the bed for a 3rd party extender.

EDIT: I found a Tundra FAQ from 2001 which lists these parts as the ones to get, so I went ahead and ordered.

It's too bad you were not a little quicker. I'm actually giving away my OEM extender. It is claimed at the moment while I try to find a box big enough for shipping.

For future reference, where did you post this? I like free stuff! I thought I could get one cheap on Craigslist/Facebook Marketplace/eBay but no dice, its new or nothing.

Usually I'll post stuff in the 1st gen marketplace but this particular item I posted in this thread. Funny that you mention Marketplace. I tried selling this on there and didn't get any takers. Not many people are looking for these.

FYI, PT329-34101 was the correct bracket. Not sure why the parts sites exclude 2000 to 2002 from compatibility, but it installed in minutes. It even looks like the original Toyota bed liner was pre cut and pre molded to fit this bracket and extender.
