Trying to figure out how the power works in the bed. I know it doesn’t pump out a lot of power but I was trying to charge a leaf blower battery pack on my way to work. When I looked down at the switch it wasn’t lit up when I was driving. I’d press it, it would light up, and then go out. When I was parked with truck running, I’d press it and it would stay on. Does that plug only work in park or am I possibly drawing too much juice from that charger pack? Also I didn’t know if the plug inside the truck worked the same way. Does the plug work inside the truck while the truck is in motion.

Ok so I just learned that none of the electrical plugs work when the truck is in drive. That doesn’t make sense. Maybe the bed one can be justified but what’s the point of the one in the cab. You can’t charge a laptop or something for the kids while your driving? That’s BS

With engine running in park you can draw 400 watts and in drive it’s limited to 100 watts.

Ok well that’s good to know. So I assume a laptop or something like that is under 100 watts?
