    No idea on the 3"

But those shocks are like $1300. $1500 with rear reservoir

I'd rather have CB shackles and SPC UCA for the same cost as the BDS kit

That is actually a pretty good idea. Thanks b6graham.

    Anyone have any other thoughts?

Look further down. There's a thread called BDS is garbage. With that said, I don't see how they claim 3" lift out of a CO that is designed for 2". Unless they preload the crap out of the spring, but dought that's it. Probably a lie.

What do you want as far as lift size? Main purpose of the lift? Budget?

So BDS tells me that they swap out the "internals" to get the 3" lift. Not sure how that works.

Would like to go about 2.5" lift in the front, 1" in the rear. Get a little more level, and get some more clearance. I have a 2020 SX model....it comes with really small tires and they are at 55K, so it is about time for new tires. Thought I would throw in a lift to go along with it. Not a lot of serious off-roading, but definitely in the woods a lot (dirt road type stuff).

why not use a 1/4" CB shim to get the 2.5" from the standard 2" coilover?

I am by no means a suspension expert but internals have nothing to do with achieving height. Height is achieved by preload, shock length, among other things.

I also have a 2020 SR5 SX package. I did Bilstein 6112/5160. Set it to 2.7 and I believe 1.5 in the rear. My personal opinion, my set up is not comfort friendly, it's more off-road use. I am currently waiting for Fox 2.5 PE's to come in. They are 2", which is fine for me and will decide on the rear shackle after the fronts are to level it out. Like graham said, you can do Fox 2.0 and add .5 shims. The Fox 2.0 rears can handle 1" of lift. I had them on a previous tundra but really can't remember the ride quality, it was a long time ago. Some will say to stay away from anything 2.0, but I think it's fine for everyday use, oems are 2.0.

Appreciate the input folks. I will take a hard look at the shims and the 2” Fox 2.0.

pursuit2550…curious what size tires and wheels you run with that setup.

I currently run BFG KO2 275/70-18 with SCS Ray 10. Another thing to consider is also the tire size. When you get into bigger sizes, 33" and bigger, they are E rated 10 ply tires. They are stiff. I have found only 1 tire in that size that isn't E rated or I was thinking of going down to a 32.5" tire with SL rating.

    Wildpeak 285/65 R18 (what I'm currently running)

Also Nitto Recon Grappler. SL load. 295/70 R18. 53lb (what i'm really debating but afraid of offroad issues)

Mine is a mall crawler. No where to off-road in S. FLA. Yeah, there are 1-2 that fall in the 32.6 size. The General Grabber ATX is supposedly a very good tire and at 33" and SL is like 44lbs. My BFG are 58lb I believe.

If you compare the overall length of the BDS 2.0 claiming 3" of lift to the standard Fox 2.0 that claims 2" of lift, the BDS version is about .75 of an inch longer with an equal increase in travel length. I have these on order and should have them installed early May.
