I have a 2006 Toyota Tundra and if the front windows are rolled down and no key in the ignition, the battery goes dead........today i sat in the truck for 10 minutes with the key in the ignition but off and the battery almost went dead. Is the window being down tied to the ignition switch? I often leave the rear window down and have no problem?
I have owned this truck for 6 years with zero problems.
Help if you can and THANKS!

    Have your battery checked.

I can't think of anything in the windows that would cause that battery issue, it may be just coincidence.

Maybe if your battery is weak and you are rolling the windows down with the engine off, it's draining the battery.

Have you checked to see if your battery is bad? Needs to be load tested

Battery check and is good. This has happened about 5 times in the last year. My guess is not the battery.........guess. I will have battery looked at again.

Are your lights on at all while you sit with it off? Or any other accessories? If any of them are on a auto off future the auto off won't work unless the door gets opened.

If it goes dead with the windows all the way down an key in ignition but off.
Does it go dead if key is removed?
Does it go dead if key is still in but the windows are 2" from the bottom of being all the way rolled down?
