Hello. Can I use the 24f battery in my 2014 instead of the 27f.
    I don't tow anything.
I purchased the 24f Sunday night at Walmart have not installed yet. I can return and get the Toyota 27f at dealership but would avoid the hassle if I don't have to. Any advice

Don't bother with dealer battery....either stick with your 24F or exchange it at Walmart for a 27F or return it and get a 27F from Autozone/Carquest/Advanced/Costco...

You’re fine with the 24f. If you feel like you need more reserve from a battery then exchange it for a 27f. Don’t go to the dealer. They suck.

Everstart Maxx batteries at WM are not pricey and have a 5 years warranty (3 full, plus additional 2 years prorated). they are very good batteries.
Even Costco dropped the interstate battery warranty from 42 months to 36 months. Some others have only 18 months warranty and are more expensive.

Yup, a 24F is also what I went with in my 2015 SR5 DC.

*** Spend the extra buck and ensure that you get AGM! ***

I get whichever battery fits correctly at wally mart but stick to the $49 version.

No battery, no matter how expensive or topped it is lasts more than 3 years in texas' 100+ weather (that we get at least 60 days of each year), so $49 is all I'll spend per 3 years, sometimes 4.

Luck and enjoy those Toyotas. : ^ )))
