Been reading the battery posts and google searches and Im wondering if i have a bad battery. I just installed the Genesis dual battery kit with 2 Odyssey 25 series batteries. All came from Amazon so might have been sitting in a warehouse for awhile.

According to the Bullydog and the dash gauge kinda confirms but isnt as accurate, its between 13.6-13.9 while running so alternator is doing its job. If i turn it off and right back to ignition without starting, its anywhere from 12.2 to 12.6. This is after driving short distances or about 30 min to work. After a couple of hours or a day, its always at 11.6. Haven't had a chance to let it sit longer than a day, but Ive never seen it under 11.6. Starts good at 11.6.

Yesterday i turned it off and right back to ignition, with radio on and lights from the safety thing, I watched it go from 12.2 to 12 in about 2 minutes. It was 11.6 this morning. I know alot of stuff was on but that seems quick.

My stock battery was dying after less than a year. had to jump it every time near the end. The only thing i have installed is an ARE cap with lights and power outlet, and a remote start. Remote start was put in Oct and issues started in Dec when it got cold.

Does this seem like something is draining or a bad battery?
