Went to dealer for oil change and they tell me I need new upper and lower ball joints.
My 2013 Tundra has 240k miles and there is a noise in the front end when I go over bumps, so I believe they are due for replacement. Dealer wants a whopping $3500 to do the job, so that's obviously a non starter.

I'm planning to do the upper and lowers myself and was planning to order OEM parts from the dealer, but they tell me you can't order BJs for that year, you have to replace entire control arms. I know these are readily available at parts stores, but I'd like to get something that is at least as good as OE. My question is, what brand is recommended to replace upper and lower ball joints for my 2013 Tundra (4x4, 5.7L).

    Thanks!
