Hello. I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra that needed a wheel bearing replacement and thought if I ordered a used knuckle with a good wheel bearing it would be an easy swap. I Got the used knuckle and it looks like the wheel bearing is also shot but I need your expertise. Picture 1 is the old wheel bearing/knuckle and 2/3 is what I got used from car parts direct with a rusted dust plate that I had to take off. What do you recommend?

I dont know, you’d have to get both inner bearing races off, and make sure nothing is chewed up. The ‘new’ one might just need a seal.

maybe someone thats done it knows if there are ‘inner’ seals, since i see some of em are marked as ‘outer’ seals.

You've gone to the expense and hassle of getting a new/used knuckle. You'd be crazy to install it without first replacing the bearing and seals -- it's so easy and economical to do with the knuckle off the truck. Are you planning to do the work yourself?
    With a shop press:

    WITHOUT a shop press:

If you don't have access to a press, take the parts and knuckle to a shop... I bet they'll charge you an hour labor to do the press work.
I have to do mine soon. I already got the bearing and inner and outer seals from Rock Auto and I have a 20 ton press.

Here are the parts for my 2000 AC. I don't know if they are different for your truck because you don't have your truck info in your profile. You need to add that info so people can better help you.
Go to your profile and add the year, cab style (RC, AC, DC), trim package (SR5 or Limited), 4WD/2WD, and engine (V8 or V6)

Koyo was the OEM supplier for the front wheel bearings. I would use those.
There is an inner and outer Sheild you need to replace as well.

Rock Auto didn't have Koyo, so I went with SKF -- which is another quality bearing company. In fact, SKF is the OEM supplier for the rear axle bearings. I would feel comfortable with Koyo, SKF, or Timkin.

Correct. When I replaced my rear axle bearings, I ordered SKF from from RA -- here's a pic of one alongside the aftermarket bearing I removed from the axle. If you look closely at the SKF bearing (lower/brown seals, next to the SKF box) it says Nachi in the lower right @ about the 4-5 o'clock position. I was a little unsure of the SKF bearing, so decided to order a set of OEM bearings from a Toyota dealer (I figured I didn't want to be doing this job twice.) The bearings came from Toyota, and they were exactly the same as the SKFs: brown seals that said Nachi/Japan -- so I returned the Toyota bearings because they were about twice the price.

Oh man, don't tell me that. I just installed Timkin rear bearings on my wife's Subaru. I guess we'll see.
