So I go a trailer with a V-nose and once i put it on reverse the parking sensors dont stop making noises and plus while backing up the auto braking system keeps hitting the breaks while im backing up. Is there any way to shut it down while backing up. Because even thought there is alot of space between the trailers back and the back of my truck the truck automatically keeps hitting the brakes which makes it really annoying

There's a button to the left of the steering wheel, bottom row / far right if I recall correctly.

Also might help to calibrate the trailer so it knows where/how the trailer is positioned.

I recommend spending some quality time w/your owner's manual :hattip:

My truck didn’t come with this button.
I had the same problem as the OP the first time I hooked up a trailer in the yard to move it for mowing and could not back up. Infuriating!!
After some trial and error and reading the owners manual I found there are some settings that can be changed on my screen when I put the truck in reverse.
So a few days later I hooked up the boat plugged in the lights and put it in tow mode. I was able to backup the trailer without any problems and didn’t have to do any special trailer set up. BUT the damn thing will shut down if you open the tailgate or door to see the trailer when it drops out of sight down the boat ramp. Big Learning curve on all the new
F’d up “features “these new trucks come with.

They're getting far far away from true trucks. Makes it easy to smile each time I get in my 1997 T-100. :hattip:
