I have searched and seen delayed or blue screens. My issue is that my camera turns on when backing up but will then not turn back on after being in drive. I have to turn the truck off, restart it, and the camera will work like it's supposed to. When it initially wouldn't come on I was thinking connection, but the fact that it works after it is restarted makes me think otherwise. Has anyone else had this issue before?

Still under warranty, but I have to travel. Will buy locally, dont trust them to work on it. Shitty service personnel, and I just dont trust them.

And no, it should come on no matter when its put into reverse. So something is off, wanted to see if something I could correct without driving a 100 miles to be looked at.

That’s a strange one. Did you notice it recently or has it been doing it? You would think the trigger would either work or not.

Just started. Happened twice. Only reason I notice is because I back into parking and my drive way.

Thanks, it says there is an update for my model. I will have to wait to get to a computer, needs USB drive to download. Only mobile when not at work.

Yeah, I just happened to think maybe that will do the trick. When I searched for the link to add I noticed that there is an update for mine as well. (2017 w/NAV). It's worth a try. If nothing else at least you'll have the updated firmware installed.

We hook up a lot of aftermarket camera systems and use the reverse lights as the trigger. Have you checked to see if your reverse lights are doing the same thing?

I will have to check, need a second person to make sure both are working properly.

Yeah. Upgraded to a 2019 pro
But no, the reverse lights were working properly. The camara issue happened randomly until I traded it in.

I had this issue with an aftermarket Kenwood HU on my 2014 SR5.
I reflashed the Maestro and now everything works fine..
