Hey guys, just found this place and I am hoping to find some help here. I have a 2011 Rock Warrior. My tailgate handle broke, so I watched some youtube videos on replacing it, then ordered a new one without first taking mine apart. I now realize that the camera setup in the original handle seems to have been quite different from everything I saw available to order, and different from what I got. On the original handle the "hood" over the camera was a separate piece. Everything I saw and what I ordered was one piece. I didn't think this would matter on the inside. It does matter because my camera was attached inside the hood, and the hood to the handle. The new handle requires the camera to be in a bracket/backing plate to screw into the handle with 2 screws, as pictured. I have tried to find a diagram or part number to order that backing plate, but cannot find hide nor hair of that backing plate. I need the backing plate and 2 screws. Can anyone help? Thank you.

The first picture is the new handle installed with the two screw holes. The next 3 pictures is the original two piece setup, no screw holes. The last picture is the camera. Ok, somehow those pictures are out of order. Anyway, I hope you see what I'm dealing with. 20200724_124840.jpg 20200724_124935.jpg 20200724_122718.jpg 20200724_122645.jpg 20200724_122655.jpg

That to me looks like an aftermarket back up camera installed into a handle without a camera.

I would order a non camera handle, and redill the hole, and silicone it back together. Since it looks that way all ready.

I agree with previous post. OR you can try to use the old camera itself into the new hole without the "hood" from your old one. If it fits, then you can use glue or silicone to hold it into place. The two screw holes in the new handle is used for the factory oem camera, the mounting points bracket and camera is all one piece.
