I was hoping there were going to be replies in here. My 2014 back up camera is fading out (works some times, has lost signal, or gets that classic 1970's screen "wave" sometimes.) I replaced the OEM head unit with an aftermarket but I am sure the connections are solid. Maybe time to get another receiver? HELP US haha.

Has anyone checked for voltage to the camera when in reverse? If voltage is present then camera most likely needs to be replaced.
If no voltage then possibly a bad connection or issue with Head unit, rear view mirror, or what ever screen being used.

TracRac bed rack, Retrax bedcover, Anytime forward facing camera, Rago dash mounting plate, changed all lights to LED with 1200lumen reverse light, added LED above tag reverse light, rear bumper step, Go Rhino step sides, CCM Cat Security Shield, tool mounts on bed rails, added tie down pad eye on bed rails.
I’ve have had a problem with mine ever since I’ve added a switch pro. I believe the problem is coming from the add-a-fuse I put in fuse box for switch pro. First time it did it I had the wires laying on top of some relays or could have been fuses. I picked those wire up and camera improved. I haven’t had time to move the wire yet but I believe they are causing some interference. I have those same wire coming into fuse box with those other wires on the left back corner if you are looking at motor from the front. I’m going to try some ferrite chokes or move wires to see if that fixes it. My backup camera will either have a lot of static or it blacks out. Doesn’t do it all the time.
