I just brought home a 2023 Tundra tonight. I was out in the driveway checking it out and folded the back single seat down. When I went to fold it back up it will not engage the lock.

it seems like the lock might be in the wrong position but it worked fine when I folded the seat down. Anyone run into this yet?

Basic warranty is expired so I’m probably going to have to call the Chevy dealer I bought it from and I would rather not have them trying to adjust the seat where my kid sits.

    What’s wrong with stock?
Try tugging on the strap that is connected to the latch. Sometimes they get stuck.

I’ve also had to push on them pretty hard to squish the seat foam enough to engage the lock.

You’re talking about the back folding on to the seat right? If the seat belt on the outside slips behind the seat that’s all you need for it to not push all the way back. Happens to me every time I fold them down.

For clarity I am talking about the latch that locks the seat in the normal upright position. I have pushed on it extremely hard and it seems like the metal bar it grabs is not in alignment.

I can’t tell if it’s just the seat shape and bolster but there is a gap at the top of this seat and not at the bottom.

The bracket holding the seat looks like it could be deformed. Is anyone able to take a look at their bracket to confirm? If you look where the silver bolt is you can sort of see how the bracket is bent in the direction of the front of the truck. I can’t tell if it’s supposed to be this shape but it looks wrong to me.
