Hey so I'm thinking of installing a back rack/headache rack, just the basic sleek lookin black one. I would have to get the tonneau cover adapter which would raise it an extra couple of inches I believe. The 2010 tundra back window is so short, relative to most other trucks, I'm wondering if it would sit too high/look funny, especially with the tonneau adapter.

Anyone have this setup and have a pic to share? thanks guys

Side note- do you know if I need the tonneau adapter? I have a low profile pleather roll up style cover. Could I get away without one ?

For the truck I throw an old yoga mat over the tailgate and we have a Kuat tailgate rack for our wagon that I highly higly recommend.

That said, I have a buddy that has a similar setup to yours that he absolutely loves. Great for over landing. I'll try and dig up a picture.

You're wanting one where you can keep the front wheel on or do you want to lock it in place via forks?

I bought my truck with a headache rack and tonneau cover already installed. The cover mounts to the inside of the bed rails and is a roll up style so it doesn't interfere with the rack.

You can see some pictures in these posts:

When I first got it I was thinking of removing it and installing it on my other truck, but I don't mind it now. I think it looks good and is functional.
