I had mine done at Arizona Toy Pros near 202 and McKellips in Mesa

They did both front and rear a few years ago. Good folks there

These are the guys that can lengthen aluminum driveshafts and balance them for super tall lifts. They have a very good reputation and have been around for a long time. Highy recommended shop.

U bolts are single use, so you'd need new ones either way when working on your leaf packs. But to answer your main question, you will need longer than stock U bolts for most add a leaf kits.
He's not talking about the RXT though - the Icon Expansion Pack does not come with U bolts, as far as I know.

You're right, I just checked their install guide and it lists the U bolt kit in the package contents.

Anyone know a good mechanic shop in the south valley that I can get an axle boot clamp replaced?

You could try Greulich's at Chandler Heights and Arizona. They seem to be able to handle most things

If it’s the small clamps, these are what I used on mine. Was helpful because it allowed adjusting the boots for clearance as needed. Have the tools for the clamps RCV uses, but the clamps are useless because they pinch the boot when tightened and leak.

The OEM uses Oetiker 167 series clamps, 10mm wide x 1mm thick stainless steel. I know the inside boot clamp big side is sized 109mm ID. The outside boot clamp big side is sized 117.5mm ID. The small ones are the same size, but I need to look at it when I get home. I just rebuilt one for spare this last weekend.

Update: small ones are 38mm ID.

Any input on lug locks for TRD PRO rims would be great, there's lots of data, mostly contradicting it's self.

Coopers & rims go on in the morning.

Well first time I tried this and got it sealed… it appears. I drove it for 50 miles doing 70-80 MPH most of the time then when I turned around I did an intentional 3 point turn around over and over again at full lock. When I got her home she was bone dry.

The first clamp was too big and the clips would not align as it was designed. They sent me a few of them and I got them all out and to my surprise each was a different size slightly. WTF is that all about RCV? I assumed it would be a set size. They did tell me that it is a new design for them so I assume everything is new. Bottom line is she looks happy!

Hey Tucson bros, any recommendations for offroad/dispersed camping spots that are within an hour or two of town? Got a family thing in southeast tuscon and want to come down a couple days early and see the sights.

Your closer to Camp Kennedy from there. I know there is more out that way but I haven't done much over there.

    The Dirty T
Gardner canyon is about an hour away. Also Parker canyon lake is about 1.5 hours, has forest service campgrounds and some dispersed areas.
