My question for those of you that have a ilx309 and maestro rr: is the auxiliary input gone?

I really wanted to connect a front camera to the yellow aux input but this may or may not be an option according to the alpine install manual (link) but I am confused as there is an aux input on the back of the head unit as well as the T02 harness. I have not yet installed but plan to this weekend. Any insight is appreciated as I am a novice when it comes to this type of install.

bonus question for those with maestro and fortin evo remote start - Has anyone experienced any issues as they both utilize the obd 2?
