I'm trying to figure out a way to disable the auto breaking when I am in reverse when I have a trailer or a cargo carrier in my hitch. The truck auto brakes and scares the crap out of me I would like to disengage it while performing these actions.

Does anyone know how to do this?

On my TRD Pro its a button to disable parking sensor to left of steering wheel near gas cover release/odo, etc.

Use the disable button on the lower left panel (each time you start the truck) as mentioned above OR turn on Tow/Haul mode (each time you start the truck - ridiculous) This disables it as well. You’d think if the truck knows a trailer is hooked up it would turn this off automatically.
