I have an AudioControl LC6i installed with Rockford Fosgate R500x amp powering my sub MTX PRR12-02. I had this same amp and sub in my 2nd gen Tundra (without the LC6i and with an aftermarket HU) and had no issues.

Issue now is that the amount of bass output is extremely variable. If my kids are in the car and "baby shark" come on, I have to turn the bass down all the way (have knob for my amp) because it POUNDS. Other times, I have to turn it all the way up to get things right.

In my old setup, I would have to make minor adjustments. Now, I have to adjust constantly.

Unfortunately, my LC6i only has level controls. Better models seem to have other settings available.

Any audio experts out there that might have any input?
