Than y'all for the accept, names James Reinholdt 50 years of age. I have the first generation Tundra and everything runs great. Over 300,000 miles and nothing to complain about until recently speaker's stopped working. Head unit still has the stock tape deck and CD player in it. I checked all fuses in the cockpit and under the hood. None are burnt. Disconnected positive on battery tried to hold down power on the head unit nothing. Unit still comes on and can search for stations. Any input??

Sounds like the amp has died.

Most replacement head units bypass the amp, so one option is to replace the head unit. Would probably be cheaper than trying to source your truck’s amp.

Audio guy here. Welcome to the forum.

These trucks came with a few audio configurations. If you want us to help, you left out four key details:
    1. What cab type? The wiring, components and configurations vary wildly between cab types.
    2. Which system does your truck have, and is it amplified? Look here if you don't know how to answer this question.
    3. Exactly which speakers are 100% not working?
    4. Are you 100% positive this isn't a case of you fat-fingering the audio controls for fader/balance, pushing everything to the left-only/right-only or rear vs. front?
Once you answer these questions, I think there are a number of guys on here who can help you with diagnostics.

Generally speaking though, multiple speakers frying at once rarely happens, if ever. I've only really seen it when someone installs things incorrectly. I've seen trucks with OEM amplifiers have the amp burn up. I've also seen trucks like mine, where someone was clearly inside the door at least once, and forgot to hook a speaker back up.
