    Hello,

I just wanted to post that I completed my install of the JL Audio (2 10" subs) package from James at Tech12Volts/Taylors audio in my 2015 TRD Pro Crewmax non-jbl. I also had him throw in a Sony XAV-AX6000 head unit to complete the system.

I purchased 2 boxes of this sound mat from Amazon because I was too cheap to buy the stuff James sells. I only had a few sheets left over after doing all 4 doors and the back wall.

The head unit install wasn't too bad. Just lay it all out and read through James' instructions as well as those from Maestro and you will be fine.

I mounted the amp remote inside the center console. I also added an OBDII splitter so I can still have one available under the dash for the OBD fusion bluetooth code reader.

1 note, the sub box is a tight fit, but it does fit. I recommend putting in the larger section of the back seat first AND making sure it will drop back down BEFORE you tighten everything down and install the smaller portion of the back seat.

Sorry for not posting pictures. Use your imagination. If you have any questions I can try to answer them, at least about my install. I upgraded my very corroded battery cables as well.

Lastly, a shout out to James who was exactly what he said he was. Available, helpful, and knowledgeable. The install wasn't too difficult and the finished product is great. FedEx somehow managed to destroy the sub box and he shipped me a replacement.

I would highly recommend if you are interested in the audio upgrades. The tweeters in the sail panels make a huge difference on the highs and the bass is now great.
