Auburn HP series LSD

The differential, installation kit, and supplies have arrived, and I plan on installing mine before the Summer drive season begins.

It seems to be very similar to the TRD/Kazuma LSD I installed in my 2002 Tundra 18 years ago... I can't wait to get this installed in my 2007, and tips or suggestions from those that have already installed an Auburn LSD would be appreciated.

I didn’t install mine myself so no tips on that, but I used nitro 80w-140 synthetic gear oil even though auburn says not to use synthetic. I changed the oil at about 1000 miles too. I haven’t had any issues or noises. I can feel it kick it a little in a sharp turn.

I plan on getting this shortly, could anyone post up a few prices you paid? I haven’t decided whether I will install it or pay a competent shop (not many out there). I have all the tools, just not the time.
